After returning to New York, I looked for ways to adapt RED LIGHTS | LA to the city. Since I don't drive in New York, I knew the photographs would have to be different. I also knew the city was more familiar to me than Los Angeles ever was, so I had to find a different way to approach it.

Without the car and its windshield, and because the streets of New York are more about the pedestrians than the cars, these photographs have a much different perspective. And a lot more people.
